On Wednesday evening, October 19, faculty attended a SparkLab event  It was designed to help develop innovative ideas about the way we teach our students and help them become long life learners.

We had very special guests who gave short workshops and mentored the teams through the process: Former Head of school and former CEO at Pinnacol Assurance, Mr. Phil Kalin and Hertzel alumni, Co-founder at Articulated Intelligence, Ms Alyce Blum. 
The teachers brainstormed and ideated, and then pitched their idea to everyone for constructive feedback. Now they are ready to submit it and apply for the school's innovation grant.

 

It was an exciting event where we introduced the term teacherpreneurs. We look forward to many more opportunities to invest in our professional development and to keep moving forward while engaging our students.
